Public Policy Communicators NYC is open to any nonprofit or foundation professional who is working to affect social change using communications.  It is an informal group with no set membership criteria.  While we discourage consultants and for-profit communications firms from attending and attempting to sell their services to the nonprofit and foundation professionals who are the core of our membership, we do allow all communications professionals from all sectors to attend if their interests and motivations align with those of the group. Organizations whose professionals have attended PPC-NYC events include: Action Against Hunger Alliance for the Arts American Civil Liberties Union American Psychoanalytic Association Americans for UNFPA Americas Society / Council of the Americas Annie E. Casey Foundation Arts & Business Council of New York Asia Society Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice Brennan Center for Justice Carnegie Corporation of New York Center for Constitutional Rights Century Foundation Children's Aid Society Columbia University Facilities Common Good Commonwealth Fund Communications Network Community Access Concern Worldwide Demos Doris Duke Charitable Foundation Edna McConnell Clark Foundation Family Justice Ford Foundation Foundation Center Foundation for Child Development Free Press Guttmacher Institute Housing Works Human Rights Watch Immigration Equality International Longevity Center -- USA International Peace Institute International Rescue Committee International Women's Health Coalition Japan Society Just Vision Lambda Legal Defense Link Media/Center for Social Media MAC AIDS Foundation Manhattan Institute for Policy Research Mobile Commons Moveon.org NARSAD National Campaign to Restore Civil Rights National Center for Children in Poverty National Committee on United States-China Relations National Council for Research on Women New Visions for Public Schools New York City Bar New York Community Trust New York Immigration Coalition New York Jobs with Justice New York Lawyers for the Public Interest New York State Health Foundation Nonprofit Finance Fund Open MIC (Open Media and Information Companies Initiative) Open Society Institute Opportunity Agenda Overbrook Foundation Pacific Foundation Participatory Culture Foundation Pasteur Foundation Peter G.
